We were considering a move after retirement, but having lived in our SSF home for 32 years, we knew it would be a huge undertaking for us. We were amazed that many years ago we had bought our home after signing perhaps only three or four forms at best. We had looked at many communities on our own over a span of a year or two and we finally decided we wanted to retire in Roseville. With his guidance, we were able to purchase our home in Roseville and felt comfortable leaving our SSF home in Walt’s hands.
Just as we moved, the housing market began its decline, but Walt was upbeat that we would find the right buyer. He held many Open Houses, distributed flyers and posted our home in the real estate magazines. We are certain he spent hours on the phone on our behalf! Although we knew he had other clients, we felt he was truly looking out for needs and was determined to sell our home in a reasonable amount of time at the right price. He kept us informed at all times (by phone and e-mail) as to the status of other home sales in the area and the conditions of the housing market.
We received two offers on our home before we finally got an offer in just a few months which we all felt was fair to all parties and it closed in 30 days.
